Sculptor constellation is fall constellation and it is in best position on the sky for evening observing in November when it culminates on the southern sky, but very low just over the southern horizon.
During the evenings in October it rises on the southeastern sky, in November it is in best position for evening observing when it is very low on the southern sky just above the southern horizon. In December how the evening progresses it is sinking fast on the sky towards the horizon ready to set - at the beginning of the evening it is on the southern sky in its best position for observing but after two hours it starts setting behind southwestern horizon.
We will observe it during the evenings in October as soon as it rises over the horizon. As mentioned above, it can be observed also during the evenings in November and December.
