Scutum constellation is summer constellation and it is in best position on the sky for evening observing in August when it is on the southern sky.
During the evenings in June it rises on the southeastern sky, in July it climbs on the southeastern sky, in August it is on the southern sky and in best position for evening observing, in September it is on the southwestern sky, in October it is lower on the southwestern sky, in November it sets behind the western horizon.
We will observe it during the evenings in July, in August when it is in best position for evening observing, in September and October.
