My plans for the future include building a new telescope with larger mirror than the current telescopes I use on the observing events which are with 20-inch mirrors. In plan is a telescope with 32-inch mirror. The bigger telescope will be able to collect more light from the celestial objects and will provide brighter and bigger images of the nebulae, comets, star clusters and galaxies and other dim objects compared with the current telescopes I use for the observing events. Some of the nebulae will not be only plain white, but will start showing their colors which is possible only with telescope with large mirror. At the same time we will be able to see new dimmer celestial objects which are impossible to see with smaller telescope. Also bigger telescope has better resolution power than smaller ones, that means that all above mentioned objects will be resolved better, which will provide more details to be noticed on the observed objects. Bigger telescope can resolve double and multiple stars better because of its bigger resolution power, so we can add on the observing list more double and multiple stars, and those which have already been observed with smaller telescope now will be split better and will appear more beautiful, and their colors will be more pronounced. Another great thing is that bigger telescope will enable us to see objects deeper into the universe, so we can see more interesting stars and deep-sky objects at the observing events.
Regarding to the Sun, the Moon and the planets, bigger telescope with its better resolution power will enable us to see more details on the surface of the Sun, the Moon and the planets, at the same time the details will be more noticeable and with better contrast that we can see them in smaller telescope. The colours also will be more pronounced. Also bigger telescope will allow us to see these objects with bigger magnification up to 1,000 times when the atmosphere is very stable and with no turbulences.
Also in the future I want to include some astrophotography equipment at the observing events, so everyone attending the events and who wants to try can take images of the planets and other celestial objects.
And last, but not least, I am planning to introduce video astronomy at my observing events. The images from the telescope will be transferred through a special video camera to a monitor for live video observing of the celestial objects. For that purpose a special video camera will be used with extremely high sensitive sensor capable of detecting very dim celestial objects. The special camera from dark location far from the city is capable of registering dim stars and deep-sky objects which have very small apparent visual magnitude and in thirty or forty seconds will be able to display them on the monitor. The images of some celestial objects on the monitor will be almost comparable with those ones captured from the Hubble Space Telescope at least when images with lower resolutions are compared. Tens of thousands of objects in the universe will be available for us for live observing. We could easily see other clusters of galaxies which are deep into the universe, not only the closest Virgo Cluster of galaxies. Coma Cluster of galaxies, around 350 million light years away which contains several thousand dim galaxies can be seen and other clusters further away. Also several bright quasars which are located some several billion light years deep into the universe could be seen. Really we will be able to see the edge of the universe.
